Hitesh has been with the committee of the European Histopathology Forum since 2016 and working as an active committee member, handling a lead role in developing the first time ever website and social media presence (e.g. Linked-In) for the EHF organisation.

Bradley-Spencer The European Histopathology Forum Committee Member

Dr Bradley Spencer-Dene

PhD

Dr Bradley Spencer-Dene received his PhD in Developmental Biology from UCL in 1995 and then had two 3-year postdoc positions at The Burnham Institute in La Jolla and the CRUK London Research Institute, before moving onto Imperial College London as a non-clinical lecturer in Experimental Pathology. After this he moved back to the LRI and onto the Francis Crick Institute as an Associate Scientist in the Experimental Histopathology core facility and then as the North European Field Application Scientist for Advanced Cell Diagnostics/Bio-techne. He joined the Non-Clinical Histology team at GSK in Stevenage, UK in 2021 as an Associate Director and Subject Matter Expert in Next Generation Histopathology.

Jo Mitchell

Head of Histopathology/ISH at the University of Cambridge, CRUK Cambridge Institute (CRUK-CI)

Jo has worked in a range of histopathological environments since 1998. She started out as a Research Assistant in the Molecular Imaging team of a Biotech start-up specialising in human tissue research services, then moved to The Sanger Institute's Atlas of Protein Expression Team in 2003 as a Senior Scientist. She first joined the CRUK-CI in 2006 as a Senior Scientific Officer to help establish the core facility in its early days and then returned as the Core Facility Manager in 2016. Between 2008 and 2016, Jo worked at an established CRO as the Head of Special Pathology Services.
